Installing XLens

Chrome

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Click "Add to Chrome"
3. Confirm by clicking "Add Extension"
4. The XLens icon appears in your toolbar

First Launch (Free Users)

XLens works immediately - no account required for basic features.

Simply browse X as usual. When you hover over any tweet, XLens displays:

• Follower count - formatted for quick reading
• Relation status - follows you, you follow, mutual

Getting Started with Pro

Upgrading to Pro is simple and takes just a few minutes:

1. Subscribe - Click "Subscribe" on our website to start the checkout process
2. Complete payment - Your account is created automatically after payment
3. Set your password - Check your email for a setup link (valid 24 hours)
4. Connect your extension - After setting your password, you'll be redirected to the connection page
5. Activate Pro - Use the 1-click button or enter your activation code manually

Basic Interface

Multiple Filters

XLens lets you combine multiple filters to clean your timeline:

• Follower threshold - Hide accounts below a minimum (e.g., 1,000 followers)
• Niche Score threshold - Only show accounts relevant to your niche
• Hide bots - Automatically filter suspicious low-quality accounts

All filters work together - configure them in Settings > Filters.

Niche Score

Niche Score measures how relevant an account is to YOUR interests. Each account gets a score from 0-100.

How to set up:

Describe your niche in 1-2 sentences. Example: "I'm interested in SaaS founders and indie hackers building products." That's enough for XLens to score every account you see.

Below 50	Likely off-topic

Whitelist & Blacklist

This feature is currently in development and will be available soon.

Whitelist - Accounts that bypass ALL filters. Their tweets always appear, regardless of follower count or Niche Score.

Blacklist - Accounts permanently hidden. No exceptions. Invisible to everyone but you.

How to add (when available):

• Hover on any tweet > Click the icon > "Always show" or "Always hide"
• Or: Settings > Lists > Add @username

What is Engagement Tracking?

XLens automatically tracks your interactions on X - likes, replies, retweets, and quotes. See who you engage with the most and who engages with you.

No manual input required. The extension captures interactions as you browse X.

The Engagement Score

Each contact gets a score based on the balance between:

• Outgoing - Your likes, replies, retweets to them
• Incoming - Their likes, replies, retweets to you

Color	Meaning
Green	You give more than you receive (positive balance)
Red	You receive more than you give (needs attention)
Neutral	Balanced relationship

Dashboard Features

• Top Engagers - Your most active contacts, sorted by total interactions
• Needs Attention - People who engage with you but you don't reciprocate
• Weekly Trend - Chart of your activity over time
• Filterable Table - Search, sort, and filter all contacts

How to Access

1. Go to your XLens Settings page
2. Click the Engagements tab (Pro only)
3. Data syncs automatically as you browse X

Start your 7-day free trial. No charge until the trial ends. Cancel anytime from your account settings.

1. Click Subscribe - Choose your plan and complete checkout via Polar
2. Check your email - You'll receive a setup link to create your password (valid 24 hours)
3. Set your password - Click the link in your email to set your account password
4. Connect the extension - You'll be redirected to the connection page where you can:
   • 1-click connect - Click the button to auto-connect your extension
   • Manual activation - Copy your activation code and paste it in XLens settings
5. Enjoy Pro features - Your extension is now connected and Pro features are enabled

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I purchase?

Your account is created automatically. You'll receive an email with a link to set your password and connect your extension.

I didn't receive the setup email

Check your spam/junk folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us at support@getxlens.com and we'll help you get set up.

How do I reconnect my extension?

Open the XLens extension popup, go to Settings, and use the "Connect Account" option. You can sign in with your email and password, or use a new activation code from your account dashboard.

My setup link expired

Setup links are valid for 24 hours. If yours has expired, contact support@getxlens.com and we'll send you a new one.

Can I use XLens on multiple devices?

Yes. Once your account is set up, you can connect the extension on any device by signing in with your email and password.
