1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using XLens (the "Service"), including our browser extension and website at getxlens.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this Service.

XLens is operated by Obsidian IT Consulting SRL, a company registered in Belgium.

2. Service Description

XLens is a browser extension that helps you filter and analyze Twitter/X profiles based on various criteria including:

  • Follower count filtering
  • AI-powered niche relevance scoring
  • Whitelist and blacklist management
  • Relationship status display (mutual follows, etc.)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Account

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of XLens, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Maintain only one account per person
  • Keep your login credentials confidential

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and API key. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at al@obsidian-it.be.

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after 1 year of inactivity.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Tiers

XLens offers both free and paid subscription tiers. The features available in each tier are described on our website. We reserve the right to modify pricing and features with reasonable notice.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Polar. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Violate Twitter/X's Terms of Service while using XLens
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
  • Share your API key with others or use multiple accounts
  • Use automated tools to abuse the Service or bypass rate limits
  • Harass, stalk, or harm other users using information obtained via XLens
  • Use XLens for mass data scraping beyond personal use
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of XLens, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and source code, are the exclusive property of Obsidian IT Consulting SRL and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Third-Party Services

XLens interacts with Twitter/X. Your use of XLens must comply with Twitter's Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitter/X. XLens is an independent tool that works with publicly available data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF NICHE SCORES OR FILTERING RESULTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OBSIDIAN IT CONSULTING SRL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Obsidian IT Consulting SRL, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

For EU consumers: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
